El clown es, en el campo teatral porteño, un oficio consolidado. Sin embargo, desde los estudios académicos no ha sido abordado desde el campo actoral. Los escasos estudios que existen aportan una mirada historiográfica, pero aún no problematizan el trabajo y la formación del actor. La llegada del clown y la formación en circo a la Universidad estatal argentina se hace inminente en el siglo XXI.
