Sumario:This essay poses that Ricardo Piglia’ s Los diarios de Emilio Renzi, describes and defines the condition of being a writer, based on a sort of hiatus between life and literature. Also, the essay analizes the connection between the journal’s writing, and its publishing as a book, and holds that the editor (Piglia) conspires through fictionality not only against time, but also against the writer (Piglia/Renzi) and the narration of his life, redifining his figure in the threshold of death.
