Sumario:In recent years, the Venezuelan migratory phenomenon is a reality that has been present in the Colombian territory and, therefore, in Medellin city. It is important to emphasize the role of the public library and its ability to respond to these new scenarios through the adaptation of services that provide immigrants with information and tools to integrate themselves successfully into the local and regional culture. This paper aims to provide an overview of the constant flow of Venezuelan citizens in the public libraries of the city and, finally, some service strategies, programs and activities are proposed, in order to improve the living conditions of these new users.
