Sumario:Old age and its vicissitudes call for reflection and are a guiding topic in various art forms. Essays, articles, narratives, paintings, tango lyrics or intimate confessions make up scenes that account for strategies of the elderly to establish relationships grown from the need to express desire, to state their right to eroticism, or simply to alleviate loneliness, in a society whose core values are not those of the elderly. “Scenes from Old Age” offers a tour of anecdotes and situations that dig into these circumstances from ancient times to date in different artistic representations.
