Sumario:To think about social relations in any institution is always a complex job, but it adquires particular features when it is about an institution of existence like the school, that participates explicitly in the formation of subjects, in our case, of adolescents -youngsters. This work tries to take into account the intersection of both dimensions in a period of strong social transformations and individual mutation of the subjects-objects of this study. From an anthropological focus, we try to reconstruct the plot of the relationships among adolescents in a period of time and in a particular place. To find out what is going on in the relationship among pairs (students- adolescents) in public schools, let us think again about the school function, taking in mind the social transformations of the end of the century. This work was done in a public school of the city of Córdoba, Argentina, between the years 1996 and 1998, with the following of a group of students who were taking the before last to the last course of the medium level.
