Sumario:This work develops how the students of intermediate superior level (CCH-Sur) in the context of strike of the UNAM (1999-2000) impelled the conformation of a space of public opinion through the written productions. These productions were oriented by the appropriation of particular written genres and diverse sources and materials of the written culture. Also, the literacy practices were articulated with the construction of the authorship and power relations maintained between publishers and reading public, all of them from the same student group. In this institutional circumstances, the students used the writting as instrument of expression and “concretion” of the circulating arguments and as a strategy to promote the dialogue and a new form of social participation.
