| Sumario: | This article is part of an ethnographical research which has, as empirical universe, a network of social and political relations in the south Greater Buenos Aires. There different actors fight by the power of political mobilization of population, through the competition by the control of public policies and public resources. From a comparative and figurational point of view, the text investigates some aspects of the relation that piqueteros and peronistas create with State and population. By this exercise, it proposes, on the one hand, to indicate ruptures and continuities between two different ways of thinking, doing, and living politics in Greater Buenos Aires; on the other hand, to discuss teleological and utilitarian explanations whereupon academy has usually asked about the dynamics of politics in poverty contexts. |
