Sumario:Literary practice, the masses and their relations with the writer, the prosaism of everyday life as opposed to the heights of art : in Ruben Dario, these terms are stressed and combined in different literary genres such as poetry, essay or fiction. Perhaps, the attraction that is still in force in his work resides in an interstitial character that makes it possible to deal with differences and contradictions as it is showed in “The Veil of Queen Mab”. The story depicts the problems of modern art and artist under the friendly appearance of mockery and sarcasm, literary resources he never abandons. The signifiers swans and people can capture some moments that summarize different politics of language.
