Sumario:A recurring problem that economists face is the absence of complete and up-to-date information as well as the inconsistency between different sources of information. For this reason, we have estimated the Social Accounting Matrix for Argentina 2017. For this, official and public sources of information were used, and estimation methods were applied to guarantee the consistency of all its flows. This type of matrix can be used in many ways, from the identification of structural changes in the input-output relations, the study of sectoral value chains, among others. At the same time, these matrices serve as a calibration source for Computed General Equilibrium Models (CGE) and Input-Output Models (I-O). in order to quantitatively assess the effects of public policies. An economic and comparative analysis of the productive linkages illustrate the use of this matrix.
