Sumario:Walsh`s first position in Argentine literature can be affiliated to Borges line, which practices with massive genres a cultural intervention, printing to language a particular tone with universal range. Critical reception (Ford, Rama, Viñas, among others) has pointed out the opposition with Borges in the gradual emphasis that politics takes in that intervention, until redraw both by death. But, also, Borges is the diverted precursor during the two decades following the last dictatorship (1976-1983), from critical operations such as those of Saer and Piglia, which differ in the valuation of Walsh. In that post-Borges net, that reorganizes canon around the present violence occluded by Borges under the history of heroic ancestors, Walsh functions beyond biographical and historical bias, because of the current power of a style developed in reading and writing actions.
