Sumario:Velocity measurement is a central point in all experimental work in Fluid Mechanics, especially if one wants to analyze the wake behind objects inside a wind tunnel. One type of instrument available is the multi-hole probe that infers the velocity vector by measuring the pressure distribution at the tip of a specially designed tip. This work describes the design, construction and calibration process of a pressure acquisition system to measure the velocity vector in a subsonic wind tunnel.
