I28-R145-2078_oai2025-11-17 Pégolo, Liliana 2016-09-25 Through this text, consisting of eight poems, some of which have gaps in your transmission, the Aquitanian poet Decimus Ausonius Magnus reviewed the events of a day in his life. Through this unique form of 'make history', the reader has a brief diary that allows to register how goes the life of a Late Aristocrat; Ausonius, very closely linked to the Court of the Emperor Valentinian, developed his work as tutor of Prince Gratianus and rhetor in the prestigious school of Bordeaux, as well as perform political tasks of Quaestor and Consul, and if privileged protagonist of the religious transformation of the Empire, during the tortuous years of the rebellion of anti-emperor Maximus.
