Sumario:There are three legitimation’s processes that operate in canonization of copleros discourses (ruedas, counterpoints and soliloquies) in the high lands of Jujuy (Quebrada and Puna) and in some communities of the Argentine Northwest. First, a legitimation from the vocational perspective that functions permanently in copleras communities. From its vocation to join themselves, these societies canonize their oral production.Secondly, from epistemic metatextual perspective, discourses of interculturalism and those related with the declaration of the Quebrada de Humahuaca as Natural and Cultural Patrimony of Humanity, propitiate researches that reconsider the status of coplero art. Thirdly, from epistemic textual perspective, recent research about coplero discourse reconfigure its object of study: isolated copla has been replaced by complete ruedas and counterpoints turning them into complex literary and linguistic studies. Furthermore, these researches analyze its nature of verbal art and its literariness from various theoretical perspectives. This paper develops the last two epistemic mechanisms, metatextual and textual, that legitimize the incorporation of copleros discourses as part of the pedagogical and critical canons.
