Sumario:The temporal component of transport includes the access time, the waiting time, the travel time and the value of time (VOT). The planning oriented to an efficient public transport must consider these aspects because are directly linked to the decisions around daily trips, such as the modal choice, destination, frequency and even distance to reach. The present article is a first step in the incorporation of time into the local studies about mobility, through a conceptual and methodological approach for the travel time measurement in public transport. To do this, the travel time was measured in four bus lines with the direction: periphery-center. It is possible to evidence the territorial disequilibrium in term of spatial distance and the time measured for each one of the itineraries.
