| Sumario: | This paper analyses the application by Argentina of non-automatic import licenses (nail) in the furniture industrial sector between 2009 and 2012. This case study shows that the nail have been an effective instrument in terms of the mitigation of the impact of the global financial crisis on the local economy, making a rapid recovery possible, maintaining the employment levels and improving the production levels of 2007. |
