| Sumario: | The practical approach with which the defense of Christians is made in times of persecution involves a significant aspect of Athenagoras’ thought, on which the approval of the followers of Christ is founded. However, there is a lack of reflexive studies regarding a Christian praxis as an apologetic argument in this Athenian, studies that would move from a dogmatic approach to Christianity to a more operative one. Hence, criticizing the religious tradition of their contemporaries, seeking a pure life and collaborating with the peace of the empire, imply an ethical ideal in terms of paradoxical criticism and adherence that characterizes Christianity of the first centuries. |
