| Sumario: | Since the mid-2000s, a new economic and productive transformation has been taking shape, but also political, cultural, daily life and territorial transformation. A new type of space-society relationship emerges, where information and technology constitute key factors in the construction of new power structures that guarantee ideological, political, behavioral and preference control of citizens. This new cycle of capitalist accumulation, which we call neoliberal-digital capitalism, in which digital platforms, apps and artificial intelligence play a growing role, implies a territorial redeployment of the production and distribution of goods and services. Artificial intelligence constitutes a set of technologies and innovations for the capture, accumulation and organization of information, with the capacity to put this capital at the service of the commercialization of all areas of daily life, affecting territorial structures. This note aims to highlight the ethical, ideological and cultural perspective of the debate around artificial intelligence and its impacts on society and the territory, and to highlight the need to produce regulations capable of regulating and redefining the times of advance of these technologies. |
