Sumario:The fundamental objective of this papper is to analyze the processes of multiple territorialization by the members of the Tengüecho community and the different ways of building their futures from the transmission of knowledge and experiences that allow them to defend "the land that was inherited to them ” in a post-industrial present. Although the above can only be understood as a defense of the past, in this text we intend to visualize the importance that the construction or development of strategies for the future maintenance of their territory has for the inhabitants of Tengüecho. By contemplating tradition as a transmission, we can realize that not only material possessions are inherited, but also knowledge, strategies, and responses to those who question us for what we consider to be ours.
