| Sumario: | This article presents some of the results of an exploratory research entitled "Erotic Diversities", which took place in 2021 in Montevideo, Uruguay. This research aimed at reflecting on the diversity of forms that eroticism adopts, in particular regarding those erotic practices that move away from the normative affective-sexual practices. For this purpose, an anthropological approach was used for fieldwork with people who practice BDSM and polyamory. In this research, we investigate what we mean by eroticism and how it relates to gender, body, and sexuality. |
