Historical records are considered too. The setting up of a ceramic corpus, now in progress, will let to establish definitively the datation of the site. A partir del estudio riguroso de la cerámica egipcia e importada de Tell el-Ghaba, norte de Sinaí, Egipto, dentro del contexto estratigráfico de donde provienen, su asociación con otros hallazgos culturales, su comparación con la cerámica proveniente de otros sitios contemporáneos del Delta oriental, del Sinaí y del Alto Egipto, así como del Levante y del Mediterráneo oriental, y su marco histórico, se ha podido establecer la datación del sitio.
