| Sumario: | The aim of this article is to offer several initial notes regarding Folklore Studies in the Hispanic Philology Institute “Dr. Amado Alonso” (Buenos Aires University). I present as well the theoretical guidelines of my own approach to folk narrative texts from a hypertextual genetic perspective. Such approach is the result of a postdoctoral research, as a member of the Genetic Criticism Group directed by Ana María Barrenechea. I contextualize this approach in a diachronic itinerary of the Hispanic Philology Institute, from it’s creation 1923 up to the present days. In such itinerary, I focus my attention in the research work achieved by Berta Elena Vidal de Battini, who compiled the greatest collection of Argentinean Folk Narrative. When mentioning her research work, I deal as well with the history of Argentinean Folk Narrative Archives, from the very first one, the Folkloric Survey of 1921, filed up in folders containing manuscripts. My goal is to provide the reader an overview of the main trends and topics of Folk Narrative research in the Hispanic Philology Institute, along with the transcription of two contemporary folk versions, which I collected in fieldwork in La Rioja, Argentina. |
