Sumario:I analyze the representation strategies of the past in the Integral Architectural Representation (IAR) of the building in which the clandestine detention center Atila-Mansión Seré operated between 1977 and 1978 in Morón, Buenos Aires. Produced in 2009 by Topografías de la Memoria, a project of the organization Memoria Abierta, the IAR is a digital tool. Through a strategy of fragmentary reconstruction of past and space, this virtual architectural reconstruction of the clandestine center is a montage of archive material, survivors’ testimonies, maps and historical photographs. This device also enables a complex narration of the past, which is not univocal and proposes different perspectives and open narratives.
