Sumario:Caspinchango has been the object of archaeological surveys and excavations that have significantly influenced the development of our discipline. Nevertheless, the polysemy of the term “Caspinchango” –that simultaneously refers to a valley, a stream, a town and diverse types of archaeological sites of varied chronology– generates a false idea of uniformity. In this work we offer data about geographic location (in geodesic length and latitude) of the “cemeteries”, “sites” and “towns” visited in XX century, as well as ethno-historical data. Conjoint analysis shows some spatial and temporal trends in construction sites and allows us to propose a sequence for landscape construction continue to this day.
