Sumario:In this editorial the various relationships, both theoretical and technological, impacting on modern Information Science are analyzed. Among many topics, the current name of “Librarianship”; the role of libraries in the context of “new forms of sociability”; the reconfiguration of the libraries typologies; the current forms of collaboration and partnerships; user participation in the processes of library management are addressed, among other things that transform the concepts of the discipline in a dynamics of “mobile articulations and paradigms”.
