| Sumario: | The territorial anchoring of a productive activity and its agents is difficult to grasp from the empirical point of view. In this paper we construct a typology to classify dairy firms and we develop a proposal to measure their anchoring. We also analyze the discourses of the interviewees regarding their behaviors. We are interested in a dairy basin (the west of Entre Ríos) where the diversity in terms of territorial anchoring can help to explain its conditions of operation. The analysis carried out allows us to argue that while certain agents rely on the expansion of markets and the development of technologies that facilitate interactions at a distance, others base their strength in proximity. This does not reject the influence of multi–scalar dynamics, butaims to show how the latterare mediated in local spaces. |
