Sumario:The article tracks the research that has addressed the ideas of young schoolchildren about the armed conflict in Colombia. For this, the state of the art is used as a methodology allowing them to be differentiated into three large groups; first, those that have served as a bridge to understand, in addition to the armed conflict, other processes or concepts, secondly, those that focus on pedagogical transformation from praxis and, thirdly, those that have a broad vision and integrative, exceeding the limits of the school. Finally, the findings and possible contributions to the field from the research field are presented.
