| Sumario: | In this article, we present an Extension and Social Interest Project built over a strong theoretical framework that allowed us to debate about a very important social issue: police violence. The project focused on the interactions between members of the police and the armed forces and the youth, it involved 100 teenangers who lived in neighbourhoods with high levels of social vulnerability in Santa Fe city and strengthened teaching and research activities on it. In these relationships between young people and members of the police social senses and hierarchies are disputed, subjectivities are constructed, identity antagonisms are consolidated and negotiations are established for reaching cohabitation in tense calm. |
