Sumario:The main purpose of this article is to articulate concepts, bibliography and documents about the socio–ecological conflicts in the Bahía Blanca Estuary (Buenos Aires, Argentina), that remains as a scenery of tensions within different actors that wants to appropriate this territory. We will try to advocate thesubsumption of the processes related to the artisanal fishery that remains in conflict due tothe policies that were applied since the ’90s in argentinian harbors. This group of artisanalfishers has historical practices that are sustainable and friendly with nature in contradictionwith the neoliberal strategies that have used ecosystems as a dump of pollutants andtoxic substances. Finally, we will offer perspectives of legislations related to ecological justicethat have been explored in the last years for human and non–human beings, such asthe local people that inhabits sceneries of socio–ecological and cultural vulnerability.
