Sumario:The aim of the following article is to present the advances in the research on Argentinian fashion design business models, defined by the designerartisan strategic alliance, in order to reflect upon the tensions when setting up this kind of initiatives concerning their economic, socio-cultural and environmental dimension, from the paradigm of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). An analysis of three enterprises located in Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (CABA) and La Caldera (Salta) was carried out, using the case study methodology and elaborating specific CSR dimensions and indicators in accordance with the organizational identity of these ventures. Based on these experiences, the main point of study in clothing design research is the interaction between the design sector and craftsmanship, which raises questions about the time and method of the delivery of products, the elaboration of designs, the intellectual property of motifs and techniques used and the setting of a fair price for crafts in the context of creative industries.
