description This article intends to raise reflections on the role of school education and, more specifically, the history teaching in the twenty-first century, through the presentation of a critical-collaborative action research developed with teachers and students of the initial years of public education in Uberlândia, MG, Brazil, to create websites that preserve and disseminate digital memories of different subjects who participated and participate in the history of the city. Based on the writings of Hannah Arendt, Citron, Cysneiros, Sibilia, Sacristán, Santos Boaventura, Grosfoguel, among others, we argue that both school and cyberspace are places that can propitiate the cultural encounter of generations, traditions and plural knowledge. We also seek to understand the disputes involved in the choices of which traditions to transmit and which innovations to realize to make this meeting possible.

Este artigo tem a intenção de suscitar reflexões sobre o papel da educação escolar e, mais especificamente, do ensino de História, no século XXI, a partir da apresentação de uma pesquisa-ação crítico-colaborativa desenvolvida junto a professoras e estudantes dos anos iniciais de escola  pública de Uberlândia – MG, Brasil, para  criar sites que preservam e divulgam memórias digitais de diferentes sujeitos que participaram e participam da história do município. Com base nos escritos de Hannah Arendt, Citron, Cysneiros, Sibilia, Sacristán, Santos Boaventura, Grosfoguel, entre outros, defendemos que tanto a escola quanto o ciberespaço são lugares que podem propiciar o encontro cultural de gerações, de tradições e saberes plurais. Também buscamos compreender as disputas envolvidas nas escolhas de quais tradições transmitir, quais inovações realizar para propiciar este encontro. Este artículo tiene la intención de suscitar reflexiones sobre el papel de la educación escolar y, más específicamente, de la enseñanza de Historia, en el siglo XXI, a partir de la presentación de una investigación-acción crítico-colaborativa desarrollada junto a profesoras y estudiantes de los años iniciales de escuela pública de Uberlândia, MG, Brasil, para crear sitios que preservan y difunden memorias digitales de diferentes sujetos que participaron y participan en la historia de la ciudad.
