Sumario:The paper tries out a series of principles that can be elaborated as specific and proper to “good administration in public procurement”, which complement those formulated as inherent to "good administration" in general, as well as those identified as typical of global public procurement. These principles, which are both challenges for the administrative contract in the future, come from focusing on various topics or issues that may arise in the selection stage as well as in the contractual execution, which must be rethought in context, design and modalities of occurrence, so that active consensus prevails, as well as greater predictability for both parties, and objective criteria of interpretation; and all this tending to preserve the life of the contract, to avoid future conflicts that can be eluded, and to satisfy the public interests and the necessities involved in the object of the contracting.
