| Sumario: | This article analyzes the work «Litoral» by Entre Ríos musician Luis Barbiero, originally included in his album Música Argentina de Cámara (2015), to explain possible links between categorizations of traditional written music and Argentine popular music from a musicological and interpretive perspective, considering the integration of chamamé elements into an academic compositional structure. Technical and stylistic challenges that arise when approaching its interpretation are identified. This research is part of a line of studies that seeks to make visible and systematize the particularities of this type of repertoire, highlighting the value of the performative approach and the need for contextualization and analysis of its specific qualities. |
