A través de la figura de un cartero criminal anónimo, se indagan las tensiones entre rutina, obsesión y fragilidad identitaria en un entorno cotidiano hostil. Asimismo, se analiza la transformación de los roles clásicos: el inspector, convertido en narratario con matices psicoanalíticos, y la mujer, planteada no como ‘femme fatale’ sino como figura liminal entre lo erótico, lo materno y lo transgresivo. This article analyzes Sobrejuegos (2022), the only novel by Basque poet Itziar Mínguez, with the aim of showing how the crime genre is reconfigured as a space for existential reflection rather than a conventional detective narrative. Through the figure of an anonymous criminal mail carrier, it explores the tensions between routine, obsession, and fragile identity within a hostile everyday environment. It also examines the transformation of classical roles: the inspector, recast as a narratee with psychoanalytic undertones, and the female figure, presented not as a femme fatale but as a liminal figure positioned between the erotic, the maternal, and the transgressive.
