| Sumario: | This article aims to reconstruct the origins and operational dynamics of the Santa Fe Lawyers Association. This group, an internal body within the Bar Association of the First Judicial District, was composed of lawyers from the city. The Association was distinguished by its strong commitment to defending human rights and constitutional guarantees, notably advocating for political prisoners and providing legal services to the most marginalized sectors of society. This study seeks to elucidate the formation of the local group in the late 1960s, identify its member lawyers, detail the various actions they undertook in the city of Santa Fe, and finally, examine its gradual disintegration with the intensification of repression in the city towards the end of 1974 and the beginning of 1975. |
