| Sumario: | In this article, we will map the initial trajectory of the silo bag system, from its inception in West Germany in the 1960s to its introduction in Argentina in the early 1990s. By examining the transition between these two periods, we will highlight the chain of associations that converged around the creation, development, and dissemination of the different versions of the bagging machine and its initially perceived accessory, the silo bag. This approach will allow us to study the origins of a technology that has brought about significant changes in the local context over time while also exploring the intersection of interests that initially supported its development.
