Sumario:The teaching of ecotoxicology faces the challenge of preparing future professionals in the practice of this discipline through the acquisition of practical skills and the development of environmental criteria. In this context, the present article aims to highlight the importance of practical work as educational experiences in the subject of Ecotoxicology in the Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sanitation at the School of Public Health "Ramón Carrillo" of the Faculty of Biochemistry and Biological Sciences at the National University of Litoral. To achieve this, the main teaching axes developed from a model Practical Work: "Assessment of toxicity in amphibians" are described, representative of the class organization scheme for the subject. These educational experiences provided with a scientific-biological approach are aimed at developing cognitive and affective capacities and tools necessary for the discipline. The resolution of tasks and the development of experiments integrate the contents taught in theoretical classes with the interpretation of data obtained from different real biological systems and experiments, as well as raising awareness for nature conservation and responsibility for environmental health care.
