Therefore, this article examines the interactions between children and adults in the Argentine anarchist movement and delves into the ways in which anarchists understood childhood. The analysis focuses on the city of Rosario de Santa Fe, drawing on the contemporary press, and archival material produced by the local authorities and activists of the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries. The central contribution of this work is its definition of anarchist pedagogy and parenting as forms of ‘prefigurative politics’: encapsulating the ideals of the movement, they became means of constructing, in the present, the future anarchist society. Los historiadores argentinos han realizado contribuciones clave a nuestro entendimiento de la relación entre infancia y política de izquierdas. No obstante, nuestra comprensión de las «infancias anarquistas» –y de lo que podría llamarse «el ciclo de vida anarquista»– aún es relativamente limitada. Por lo tanto, este artículo propone examinar la interacción entre niños y adultos dentro del movimiento libertario argentino e indagar en las maneras en que los anarquistas entendían la infancia. La investigación se enfoca en la ciudad de Rosario, provincia de Santa Fe, recurriendo a fuentes periodísticas, así como a materiales de archivo producidos por autoridades municipales y militantes a fines del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX. La propuesta central de este trabajo es ofrecer una definición de la pedagogía y la crianza libertarias como formas de «política prefigurativa»: al encarnar los ideales del movimiento, estas representaron maneras de construir, en el presente, la sociedad anarquista futura.
