Sumario:This article reflects on the use of different methodological tools during an extension experience on comprehensive oral health carried out in an educational community in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. In this project we develop various activities together with the students, teachers, families and the university team, with the aim of strengthening individual and collective health care practices. We focus on the description and analysis of the diagnosis stage of the situation. We implemented a sequential mixed methodological, with a first quantitative moment by measuring the quality of life related to oral health, followed by a complementary qualitative phase of reflection and analysis workshops focused on the circulation of the word. The use of mixed strategies allowed exploring and generating instances to identify needs and interests of actors involved in community interventions to promote oral health.
