| Sumario: | The article analyzes the imaginaries and plans of action around Perón's return during the period 1955-1958. To this end, the text explores the emergence of the slogan "Perón Vuelve", pondering how through dissimilar practices —writings, anonymous inscriptions, sticking of posters, circulation of rumors and signs, construction of myths— the "return" shaped the expectations of the outlawed Peronism. It also examines the (failed) attempts to repatriate Perón or to bring him closer to Argentine territory through his installation in neighboring countries. The text is based on the premise that the practices and imaginaries surrounding the "return" were developed from the beginning of the exile and took various forms among the leaders based in Argentina and abroad. |
