Sumario: Subjective positioning designates the way in which a subject inhabits an established position or builds a new one, from which phenomena are interpreted. It forms the basis on which pedagogical decisions are made. In this work we seek to characterize the subjective positioning of two trainers of trainers in a training device focused on reflection on practices carried out in Buenos Aires. We applied content analysis (Krippendorf, 1990) to 7 supervision meetings and an interview with the two trainers. The analysis allows the elaboration of 4 hypotheses. 1– Six dimensions could be identified that make up the subjective positioning of a trainer —the bonding dimension, the dimension of the meaning of the training, the conceptual foundations, the values, the affections and the interpretation of the present situation. 2– The latter function has been identified as the organizing axis of the others. 3– The imaginary register present in this dimension participates in a preponderant way, organizing the other dimensions. 4. The positions of both trainers can be considered as exponents of two social imaginaries around training currently in tension: that of training as a process of rational understanding of situations and that of training as psychic elaboration.
