| Sumario: | The CIAA project was launched in Argentina in 2013 as a collaborative effort between academic and industrial sectors. The project is centered around a "free" hardware design concept and involves the Embedded Systems Laboratory at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires (Fiuba UBA), the Argentine Association of Embedded Software (ACSE), and the Chamber Argentina of Electronic, Electromechanical and Lighting Industries (CADIEEL). The primary objective of the project is to foster national technological advancement. The project's origins, progression, various platform iterations, and key contributors are all characterized using a qualitative methodology, with an emphasis on examining the project's territorial network expansion.
