| Sumario: | The study and comparison of two of the first rewritings in Spanish of the myth of Antigone, Antígona Vélez by Leopoldo Marechal and La sangre de Antígona by José Bergamín, responds to the interest in the points of contact between both works. First of all, the position of enunciation of its protagonists which reproduce the conflict of the author himself as a political subject and that confirms the possibility of using the myth as a conciliator of the autochthonous and the universal and to demonstrate that literary resources, even when subtle, allow different readings of the original message. |
