This article attempts to auscultate to the sounds of the struggle of one of the organizations born to demand justice. For more than 10 years, the March of the Torches took place every Tuesday (the day the water entered the city) and on the 29th of each month. This group stands out for transcending the claim for material reparation: it seeks truth and punishment for the guilty. The forms of the claim are approached from the perspective of sound studies, which allows perceiving the protest scenario as an acoustic territory and attending to what the sounds have to inform. Despite the fact that the March of the Torches has sought visual impact, the audible is imposed on the visible by its particular way of affecting. The representative rituals of the group are analyzed, such as naming out loud the victims and shouting at the door of the Courthouse, as well as the role of the songs, especially «No nos moverán » and the contrafacta «Inundador».
