| Sumario: | In this article we reconstruct the trajectory of the militant side linked to Montoneros and the Revolutionary Tendency of Peronism in the second stretch of the eighties. We will see that through the Peronismo Revolucionario (PR) group, the historic Montoneros leadership managed to unite an important militant base in an extremely adverse context. The stigmatization of the montonera identity from its association with political violence resulted in the leadership of the current being excluded from the democratic political field. However, having a significant militant capital, the Peronism of Montonera extraction maintained its political presence and deployed various strategies of social and political insertion. |
