I propose the category of intermediality (Higgins) enriched with the aesthetics of imminence characterization made by García Canclini. We selected works by Doris Salcedo, Sandra de Berduccy, Nuno Ramos, Oscar Muñoz, Graciela Sacco, Juan Manuel Echavarría and Alfredo Jaar, from whose texts we take the notion of «staging». |
