The reading emphasizes the negativity in the poetry of Juan L. Ortiz, which will be conceived as a critical work that investigates the limits of consciousness and the possibilities of poetic writing itself. His poems know and assume the distance and dispossession of poetic writing. Likewise, this lyrical corpus presents a speaker in tension with the evoked landscape. In this paper we will map some poetic operations to search the literarial space of this tension. El artículo explora la condición enigmática de todo discurso poético anclada en la tensión irreductible entre significado y significante. En esa indagación se realizará una lectura, por fuerza muy incompleta, de la obra del poeta entrerriano Juan L. Ortiz poniendo el acento en la negatividad propia de su poética, concibiéndola como una obra crítica que indaga sobre los límites de la conciencia, de las posibilidades de la propia escritura. La poética orticiana sabe y asume la distancia y la desposesión que marcan su decir. Indagaremos el espacio de esta tensión cartografiando algunas de sus operaciones.
