Sumario:The 2001 crisis hit a group of social sectors in Entre Ríos hard, who took to the streets and routs to present their demands. Among them, the small and medium–sized agrarian’s producers, badly hit by the commercial opening that allowed thee importation of locally produced goods, who protested against the economic model and its’s change. As a result of this process, the Chajarí tent was installed, in the north of Entre Ríos, on Route 14, key in trade with Brazil and Paraguay. Consequently, in this paper I intend to approach, from newspaper sources, the study of the Chajarí tent during 2001, taking into account the actions carried out, their demands, the way in which they constructed their discourse in the context of the national and province crisis, and the organizational forms they used in the dynamics of the conflict. During this, we observed the formation of a social force based on the alliances that the agrarian producers were able to establish with other sectors, transcending the initial economic–corporate demands (such as the profitability of the sector) to a struggle oriented for the change of the «model».
