| Sumario: | This article develops a critical analysis of El Che en la frontera (2016), the posthumous play by Argentinean writer and playwright David Viñas (1927-2011). Analysed in relation to the rest of his dramaturgy and supported by intervention texts that Viñas published in the seventies and eighties, the reading of this piece sheds light on the persistent and deliberate work of criticism and disarticulation of the mythological construction of the figure of Che Guevara promoted and naturalized from the mauvaise foi of the progressivism post-revolutionary discourse in Latin America.
