| Sumario: | This article analyzes the process of reunification of the Italian community in BuenosAires during the second postwar period, starting from the division between those leaderswho supported the fascist regime and those who opposed it. For this it will be necessaryto analyze the interference in the group of the policies adopted by the governments ofArgentina and Italy. Likewise, the decision of the leaders to put aside the politicaldifferences of the past was a determining factor in achieving unity. A comparative studywas carried out of the main associations linked to the General Federation of ItalianAssociations of Argentina (FEDITALIA) and the ethnic press, with the aim ofunderstanding the ideological positioning of their leaders and the role they played in the"pacification" process. |
