Sumario:We are currently living in a time marked by the multidimensional civilizational crisis produced by the metabolic order of capital, which threatens planetary life as a whole, including human life. This context challenges us to consider and look for alternatives to overcome capitalism, in a dual post- and anti-capitalism sense, whose most paradigmatic construction is socialism. Drawing from these constructs, (in the following lines) we revisit the proposal of Raizal (eco)socialism elaborated and developed by Colombian thinker Orlando Fals Borda (1925-2008). In order to do so, we present his path towards the conceptual elaboration: the proposal itself, the genetic node and the historical eruptions detected by him for the Colombian situation? Finally, we suggest some considerations for future developments that will allow the update and reinsertion of this utopia in the struggles and constructions present in the popular arena of our continent.
